01. Behavior at home
I wish I could say that his behavior at home has been wonderful. However, we had an incident this past weekend. Carson Cut the home security cameras and snuck out of the house. Went to hang out downtown and went to a friend's house and state the night. I was not made aware until the morning.
02. Behavior & academics at school
Carson has been a freshman in high school at Ann.Upper pioneer for 3 weeks now.I have already received an email about his behavior the first week of school I have not received any other messages since that first one. However , he is currently failing in that same government history course. He has missing assignments and has been pulled from football Because of it , until behavior and academics improve.

Struggling (1/5)
01. Behavior at home
Carsen has had some highs but more lows than I would like to see. He made me coffee, which was so sweet one particular morning, and has said good morning once or twice. However, most mornings and most evenings, he does not say good morning or good night to me or anyone in the house, really. His room has not been being kept up, and we are still dealing with disrespect.
02. Behavior & academics at school
It is the summer, so school is out. However, I would love to see Carsen do more studying in his bible, which I have not seen!
03. Responds first time
I have to ask him more than once, consistently, to do something. He does not typically respond the first time.

Struggling (2/5)
01. Behavior at home
Carsen has been very quiet unto himself. He earned the privilege to move his bedroom into the basement, and I had to tell him that I still need to be able to see him. I no longer receive good mornings or good nights, and many times he's not answering his phone. I told him that we need to work on making sure he's communicating with me and still staying in communication and connection.
02. Behavior & academics at school
School finished two weeks ago. He was able to finish with mainly B's on his report card. However, some of his behaviors did decline the last week of school, being chatty and at times sarcastically disrespectful to his teachers.
03. Responds first time
I wish I could say yes, however, it is not consistent. Many times he wants to ask, "Why are you asking me? Why not ask his older brother. Or he tells me he doesn't want to do it.

Struggling (1/5)
01. Behavior at home
He is still continuing to eat in his bedroom and leave dirty dishes there. I have to remind him multiple times to not do that and to take the dishes downstairs. He has gotten better about doing what I ask. When I ask, however, the initiative to do the things that need to be done when he sees them has not been happening. I would like him to improve on that. For instance, when the garbage is overflowing, he should just take it out and not wait for me to ask.
02. Behavior & academics at school
I received an email from his gym teacher. It did come on a day when he forgot to take his medication. Please see below. "Dear Ms. James, Carsen is back in PE for this quarter. The first two days went well, but today did not go well for him. He was unsafe in class and hanging from the bar that supports one of the side backboards in the upper gym, and later grabbed and held onto a basketball net. Students have been told repeatedly that this is not okay behavior.
Carsen also had his hands on other students in class, used inappropriate language, and was talking over me when I was talking to the class at the start of class for directions. When he was asked to sit out temporarily, he wanted to argue about it and then kept asking me questions and singing at me. He took a basketball out of the storage room without permission, and opened a stairway door when he was supposed to be sitting out. When he was allowed to play in the game, he was not playing by the rules, and prevented others from playing the game. I reminded Carsen that he needs to follow school and classroom expectations. I told him that is not part of being safe, responsible, and respectful in class, and he will sit out of activities and lose class credit. He replied that it didn't matter because he would still pass the 8th grade. He did receive a VOE for his choices today. I'm not sure if Carsen wants to be in this class this quarter, or what other options would be available for him this quarter, but I told him he could speak with his counselor to find that out. I appreciate your time and support, and your support of Carsen. Please let me know if you have suggestions of ways to help support him here at school.

Needs Attention (3/5)
01. Behavior at home
Generally good. But we’ve had some instances of talking back.
A bigger problem is that on Saturday Jeremiah asked me to log in to my parent account for his Nintendo Switch, then, without my permission or knowledge, he charged $100 to my credit card and bought new games.
I took away his Nintendo for a month, with the possibility of him earning it back before then.
I’m also not pleased that he asked me who Bonnie Boo is. I had no idea. Turns out it’s actually Bonnie Blue, a porn star he learned about AT THE CAVE. I’m pretty upset about this.

01. Behavior at home
In general I would say it's been good. However, it seems that Jeremiah and Maggie (his mom) seem to have an angry blowup a day or two after I submit this form. Then it's better again for ten days, then I fill out the form again and they have another argument. But overall, I would say pretty good. Maggie would probably disagree with me.
02. Behavior & academics at school
Generally good, but he has a D average in science. He seems to try just hard enough to get through, but never enough to actually remember anything after the test or assignment.
03. Responds first time
We frequently have to ask him to do things like chores or brushing his teeth, etc.
I think it's because he doesn't like to be interrupted.

His brother will Harbor that resentment literally cause he's not understanding, adjusting and teasing. It is literal for him and as a big brother, he should be setting an example of Grace.
