4 Tips on How to Help your Teens Improve their Sleeping Habits

Parents! Are you children getting a full night’s rest?💤
At least a full eight hours is the recommended amount of time to sleep each night. A full night’s rest is crucial for learning, staying focused in school or at home, and getting exercise. ⁣
1️⃣ 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧𝘧 – All electronics need to be off before bed time. This way their minds can relax and fall asleep quicker. ⁣
2️⃣ 𝘑𝘢𝘷𝘢 – You need to limit your teens caffeine intake. This includes coffee, tea, and soda! You need to help them cap off at 100 MG per day. ⁣
3️⃣ 𝘗𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘺 – Violent video games or movies right before bed should be avoided, especially if it’s a school night or they need to be focused the next day. ⁣
4️⃣ 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 – If a sleeping disorder or problem is suspected, it might be a good idea to call the doctor. They can evaluate your teen’s overall heath and sleep habits to help the issue. ⁣
Do your kiddos have a hard time sleeping at home? Drop a 1️⃣4️⃣ in the comments to show which one of these tips you think would work best in your home!
