Jason Wilson, Founder and President of the Yunion, has more than 20 years of programmatic experience in working with youth and young adults. Under his leadership, the Yuinon has reached more than 10,000 youth and young adults in the metro-Detroit area through mentoring, prevention and life skills programming. Mr. Wilson has a relentless passion for guiding and mentoring young African American males, and currently leads our Cave of Adullam Transformational Training Academy.




Ms. King is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dunamis Clean Energy Partners, LLC, a renewable energy consulting firm specializing in project development, management and financing of renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy management projects for municipal, commercial and industrial clients. Ms. King has over seven years of experience in the clean energy sector, having provided consulting and project management services for commercial solar and energy efficiency projects both domestically and internationally. Ms. King is a licensed corporate and real estate attorney with over 14 years of legal experience. She has also taught Entertainment Law and Contracts Law as an adjunct professor at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Ms. King is active with the State Bar of Michigan, Business Law Section;and serves as board member and secretary for the Michigan Black Chamberof Commerce. She has also served for 11 years as Board Chairperson for Abayomi Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit youth servicing organization located in northwest Detroit.




Kirk Englert has lived in the Detroit area for 17 years and is currently the Director of Mechanical Engineering for the Lifestyle Automotive Audio Division at Harman International. He holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, both in in Mechanical Engineering. He has been working in the automotive industry for 17 years in various functions at Ford Motor Company, A123Systems, Bose Corporation and Harman in increasing roles of responsibility.
Kirk has been participating in ministry in various capacities since college - as a Bible study leader, worship leader, counselor at the urban ministry The Pittsburgh Project, global missions projects and adult smallgroup leader. Kirk has been a supporter of the Yuinon since its inception.He is a member of Dearborn Christian Fellowship where he plays drums on the worship team and leads a 3rd-5th grade boys ministry. He is happily married with 3 sons.




Kourtney Neloms is a professionally trained community developer, evaluator and advocate with work experiences in the faith community, social and philanthropic organizations, educational settings and local government agencies. Neloms received a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and currently homeschools her two young sons. Additionally, for the past 10 years, Neloms has operated Catalyst Consulting which provides research and evaluation support to community-based organizations. A life-long lover, supporter and resident of Detroit, Neloms is an active volunteer and board member and participates in local and global missions’ projects. Neloms currently resides in Northwest Detroit with her husband, Quan Neloms, a Detroit Public Schools teacher and sons Mathias and Nathan Maddox.




Cameron Young is a native Detroiter. He graduated from Detroit Henry Ford High. He has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Michigan, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Cameron owns his own insurance agency in Berkley Michigan, has over 29 years experience in the industry, and is one of the top agencies in the state, and has been in the top 2% in the country. He is also Series 6 and 63 licensed. Cameron is married and a father of three. He loves the Lord and has been a member of Rosedale Park Baptist Church since 1992. He serves in the Financial Stewardship Ministry and as a coordinator for Financial Peace University.


Louis Morgan III


Louis Morgan III is a naïve Detroiter. A Cass Tech High School graduate, he attended Grand Valley State on scholarship with plans to be a teacher before falling in love with the hospitality industry and changing career paths.

Louis has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, the past six with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR). He began his Ocean Prime career in Indianapolis serving various roles before returning home and being promoted to Beverage Manager of the Ocean Prime Troy location. Louis quickly rose through the ranks becoming Assistant General Manager then General Manager. Named GM of the Year in 2016 and 2017, under Louis’ leadership, his restaurant also won 2016 Restaurant of the Year. The CMR executive team voted in Louis as Operating Partner in 2017. He is the youngest to achieve that title. He is currently the General Manager at the Ocean Prime Chicago location. Louis is dedicated family. He is happily married and proud father of two sons.

Jaunice Kellar BOARD MEMBER

Jaunice Kellar is currently a Financial Empowerment Coach with Matrix Human Services where her responsibilities include providing financial education, credit counseling, and housing resources to clients across Metro Detroit. She has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry and prior to joining Matrix Human Services in 2020 she held positions in Corporate Compliance, Operations, Trust, and Middle Market Banking with various financial institutions.

Recognizing her passion for helping and building the community at an early age inspired her to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Development and a Master of Science Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.

Jaunice has volunteered her time with many organizations such as Women of Tomorrow, Junior Achievement, Project We Dream Hope and Believe, Black United Fund, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She also serves as a board member for 4 Corners of Life and the Greater Works Foundation for Impacting Change.
