3️⃣. 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 – During preparation for the school year, preferably an hour before bed, let them read a book, comic, or magazine. What they do in quiet time is not important, as long as no electronics are present! ⁣

An ongoing, meaningful connection between kids and parents is one of the most powerful factors in supporting mental and physical health. Let your kids open up about what they’re thinking and feeling.⁣
