Moment with Tracy Martin
In May, I was humbled to be honored by The Trayvon Martin Foundation Circle of Fathers and yesterday it was sobering to shake the hand of brother Tracy Martin at #NABJ19. His pain was so palpable—he even knew how many days it was since his beloved son Trayvon was murdered. After the panel discussion, I was moved to give him a copy of my book—praying that my transparency and triumph over trauma will bless him as he continues the process of grieving and healing. Please always remember Tracy and the Martin family in your prayers.
