Giving your child the privacy to think and explore is an important part of their growing independence. Thatās because part of growing up is learning to handle new ideas, emotions, and interests with independence and responsibility. š ā£

Because the teenage brain is still developing, teens sometimes make quick decisions and donāt always think through the consequences of their behavior. š Your child needs you to stay in touch with them, so you can guide and support them. šš©šŖš“ šŖš“ š¤š¢ššš¦š„ š®š°šÆšŖšµš°š³šŖšÆšØ.ā£

You should also trust your child to make good decisions, behave appropriately, and decide what information they need or want to share with you and others.ā£
