One day all men will break free from emotional incarceration

One day all men will break free from emotional incarceration

I was deeply moved watching this clip of Shaquille transparently sharing his broken heart regarding the losses and trauma he’s experienced. I cried when he said, “Sometimes instead of holding back certain things, we should just do. We take stuff for granted… like I don’t talk to you guys as much as I need to.” I know his pain associated with losing so many loved ones and not knowing how to release the trauma in healthy ways. As a result, so many good men suppress emotions, holding back love. We fear getting hurt again—so we live from that fear, instead of our hearts. This clip reminded of why the Most High called me—men are suffering in silence. Prayerfully one day all men will break free from emotional incarceration, so that they can be huMAN. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
