Reach Them Before You Teach Them

Our Program Coordinator is presenting a training titled “Reach Them Before You Teach Them: Foundations of Effectively Relating to Students”.
This training is on a national stage for new grant recipients of federal Sexual Risk Avoidance Education dollars.
The session will explore the communication dynamics needed to answer student questions effectively. It will provide strategies to expand an understanding of the whole person when relating to youth while developing the practical skills of building positive student and teacher relationships.
We know he’ll do a great job presenting and representing the Yunion and the city of Detroit.
