What Age Do You Think Their Brain Has Fully Developed?

Parents, I know you don’t understand why your teenager occasionally behaves impulsively, irrationally, or recklessly. At times, it seems like they don’t think things through or fully consider the consequences of their actions.🚫⁣

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭! Studies have shown that the brain continues to mature and develop throughout childhood, adolescence, and well into early adulthood.⁣

The frontal cortex, the area of the brain that controls reasoning and helps us think before we act, doesn’t fully develop until early adulthood.⁣
