A good brother and my idol
Keith was a good brother and my idol, but due to his “profession”, the Most High never allowed us to develop the closer connection I so desperately wanted. Eventually that lifestyle took his life. Yes we all will reap what we sow—but it hurts when it’s your bro. The personalized plate on one of my brother’s drag-racing cars had the inscription “If It’s God’s Will, I Will.” I remember one day asking him, “Why do you have that plate on your car when it seems like God’s will doesn’t matter?” Almost repentantly, he answered, “All I can do is try.” Rest in peace, my dear brother. Rest in peace.
Removing the Pressure to Perform!
This was a very special moment in our academy when one of our recruit’s fathers, stepped on the mat to encourage and affirm his beloved son!
Raise The Importance of Integrity
“We must get back to developing character and modeling what it looks like lived!” — Mr Jason Wilson
Work To A CrossFit Workout!
As promised, since people rarely post their struggles to success on social media—here’s another image to encourage my beloved millennials when the path to entrepreneurship becomes an obstacle course.
FOCUS IS A TRAINED BEHAVIOR
More than self defense—self control!
Do Not Suffer In Silence, You’re Never Alone
My brothers—just because you’re strong, doesn’t mean the weight isn’t heavy. Please do not suffer in silence, you’re never alone, so always ask for a “spot” when life gets too heavy to lift!
Never Forget Where Yah Has Brought You From
It’s deep how life comes full circle at times. I met this brother Sierra in 1991 when I was trying to get in shape. Little did I know that the Most High crossed our paths so that I could build my spiritual “muscles.” Sierra was not only a trainer at a national chain gym but a man of God—and later I discovered he was married to my good friend from high school, Youlanda. Sierra was a strong influence in my life and we became close friends.
Don’t Let Your Son To Be A Victim Of Bullying
We are infuriated that this happened to your beloved son and we are ready to be the village you need! We will not only help your son release the trauma associated with this vicious assault but also give him the psychological support, brotherhood, emotional stability and martial art training needed to ensure he will NEVER be a victim of bullying again!
Don’t Despise Small Beginnings!
I was prompted by the Most High to share this brief word of encouragement with those who are discouraged by where they are in their lives—knowing Yah has more in store for their lives. Embrace the place where you are, so that you can learn what’s needed for where you are going!
Life is full of decisions, but life is not about decisions
I am so thankful I listened to wisdom instead of my emotions because another strong rain could have caused some potentially costly damage. Also, a flat-roof in Michigan is not ideal—it needs to be maintained annually. Praise Yah for my neighbor because another month of procrastinating could have cost our family💰!
Love Is Together—Forever!
Men: We must never allow our fear of being inadequate, stop us from marrying the woman who can help us become whole! I’m so thankful I allowed my wife and I to get it together—together. Now our love is together—forever!

Battle With Suicidal Thoughts
I never thought I’d be sharing my story publicly, but if that means I can help someone through their journey, it’s worth it.
