TRAINING OVERVIEW
CORE TRAINING AREAS AT CATTA SUMMER CAMP!
At CATTA, our mission is to develop the whole young man—mind, body, and spirit. Each day is intentionally structured to include physical discipline, emotional stability, academic support, and life skills mastery. Our sessions are not "tracks" or "pathways"—they are foundational building blocks that shape future leaders.
Here’s a glimpse into the core experiences that every camper will engage in:
-
Emotional Stability & Mindfulness
We don’t run from emotions—we teach our boys how to master them. Campers engage in guided mindfulness exercises, reflection sessions, and peer dialogues that help them process anger, fear, and frustration in healthy ways. These sessions build resilience, self-awareness, and empathy.
-
Martial Discipline & Physical Training
Using the CATTA method, campers will learn self-control, body awareness, and confidence through structured martial arts training. This training isn’t about fighting—it’s about focus, respect, and inner peace. Through drills, exercises, and team-based physical challenges, boys build both mental and physical strength.
-
Academic Enrichment
Led by certified teachers, our daily Math and ELA sessions help boys sharpen their academic skills while building confidence in the classroom. These high-energy sessions close learning gaps, reinforce problem-solving, and prepare boys to excel in the upcoming school year.
-
Life Skills & Leadership Development
From grooming and etiquette to financial literacy and public speaking, campers are exposed to essential life skills that many young men aren’t taught until it’s too late. Returning campers and high performers are offered opportunities to lead, mentor peers, and strengthen their sense of responsibility and purpose.
