C.A.R.E. Early Intervention Program
The Yunion’s Connect, Advocate, Restore, and Empower (C.A.R.E.) Early Intervention program is supported through the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and is designed to provide proactive, individualized support to youth who may be experiencing academic, behavioral, social, or environmental challenges. The program serves youth between the ages of 10-18, and its commitment is to build meaningful relationships, address barriers, and support youth and families before challenges escalate.
Through a strengths-based and youth-centered approach, C.A.R.E. emphasizes consistent relationship-building through dedicated Care Managers who work closely with youth and their caregivers. Care Managers connect participants to supportive services, advocate on their behalf across systems, and help restore stability through coordinated care planning and ongoing assessment. Programming is flexible and responsive to individual needs, with an emphasis on collaboration among youth, families, schools, and community partners.
