Children are Apt to Live Up to What you Believe of them

“𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.”⁣

Parents, we know that our children have their own thoughts/feelings, but it’s also true that what we think about our children affects them as well. ⁣

Our children will either rise or sink to the standards we set for. There are exceptions where the child will do the opposite out of spite, but generally the rule is that they’ll strive to meet our expectations no matter what.⁣

Let’s set high expectations for our children as we have their best interest at heart. Remember, we are not who we once were as young adults and teens, and we must acknowledge that our children are growing and maturing every day just as we continue to grow as parents. ⁣
