Laziness

Confronting the Spirit of Laziness in Boys

God never uses lazy people. Unfortunately due to the curse after the fall (Gen 3:17-19), the natural inclination of boys and men is to avoid hard work. This is why so many get lost in chasing a dream, instead of their purpose. In this short clip you’ll see me observe one of my students from the middle school group slacking due to laziness. I quickly engage in the drill to capture this teachable moment. It is written, “Discipline your son while there is still hope and do not desire his death.” I pray we as a culture will adopt this life saving principle, if not, the prison industrial complex will continue to make billions off of our sons.
