We know setting boundaries may seem like a daunting task, but trust us, it’s worth it! By establishing clear limits and expectations, not only are you helping your adolescent develop autonomy and responsibility, but you’re also creating a safe and structured environment (which they thrive in).
Plus, setting boundaries make your job easier in the long run. When boundaries are established and executed you decrease you and your child’s stress levels.
And yes, they will test those limits but don’t take it personal. Limit testing is a natural park of their development, but you have to stand your ground.
