Mother’s Love
Parents, remember what it was like to be a teenager? Now place yourself in your teen’s shoes. Interesting, right? Depending on your experience there is probably an array of emotions that come to mind. Your teen is probably feeling and or going through the same thing you did emotionally.
Extend to them the grace that you received or wish you received from your parents as a teenager. Remember we have been their age before (and I don’t know about you but I know I don’t want to go back down that road lol) but they’ve never been ours. Guide them along the way and do so graciously. They’ll be better as a result of it, when it’s all said and done they’ll thank you for it, and everyone benefits; even you.
