There are many different factors that can affect your child’s self-esteem, but here are our top 4!👇
1️⃣. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 – This includes hugs, kisses, high-fives, etc.
2️⃣. 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 – Things like “I love you” or “I’m proud of you”, and how you say them; if it’s sincere or sarcastic.

Parents have a strong influence on the way their children feel about themselves. Make sure you are talking to your kids, listening to what they have to say, and show them that their opinions matter!
