Safe Space
For men, finding a “safe space” to release our cares is like searching for a diamond in ice covered snow. On my journey to freedom from emotional incarceration, I’ve discovered that the first safe space a man must find is within himself. This is where the battle begins and is won, for it’s written, “But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.” – Romans 7:23
I know the introspective fight is one many fear facing, but trust me men—you’ll drive yourself insane trying to love others while you still struggle to love yourself.
