Self -Awarenes

Self -Awareness :
The ability to accurately recognize
one’s emotions and thoughts and their influence on behavior.
This includes accurately assessing one’s
strengths and challenges and possessing a well-grounded sense of confidence and optimism.
One of the best things you can do for your young person is help them become “Self-Aware”.
The benefits of a self-aware youth:
• Recognize their strengths and challenges.
• Can figure out what they need to do to complete a task.
• Notice mistakes in schoolwork and make edits or changes.
• Can understand and talk about feelings.
• Recognize other people’s needs and feelings.
