SOMETIMES ACCEPTING THINGS IS CHANGING THINGS

Instead of moving on—our desire for controlling our lives, deceive us into staying in a “season” that has already fulfilled its purpose in heaven (ministry, friendships, etc.). Remaining in a season that has passed will cause frustration, hurt and disappointment. However, when we allow the truth to sober our souls—we will stop wearing sandals in the winter, and a wool coat in the summer. When I allowed situations to unfold or unhealthy relationships implode—I am able to maintain peace within when everything around me seems out of control.
