Bullying Affects All Teens

Parents! Did you know…? 🤔
Research shows that students who are perceived as different in any type of way are at an increased risk of being bullied. This could be looks, behavior, style, relationships with other students, etc.
Bullying affects all teens. This includes those who are bullied, the bully themself, and those who witness bullying. The effects of bullying can even continue into adulthood, which could affect relationships with others.
Sadly, it’s very common for most teens to experience some type of bullying, as I’m sure a lot of us parents have as well.
So in honor of #bullyingpreventionmonth month, we wanted to begin the conversation of what we can do to make a change. Do you have any tips for our children who might be dealing with a bully? Advice on how they could come forward and feel safe about doing so? Leave a comment below! ⬇️
