The Heart of the Matter

2 weeks ago we had our annual staff retreat! Our theme this year was β€œπ“π‘πž π‡πžπšπ«π­ 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐑𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.”
We wanted our staff to focus on taking care of themselves so that they can feel good, but also so they can be effective in caring for the youth and families we serve. β£πŸ’™
We realize that in the process of caring for others, we often tend to neglect ourselves. So on day one, we focused on better habits! Nutrition, breathing, stretching, and meditation. Even emphasized the importance of stress relief and mental health via massage therapy and reflexology.
