Today’s Tip
Parents, if we are being honest with ourselves, we canโt control our children.

When we try to control our kids, we take away their autonomy. When they are away from us, it’s rare that they actually do what we want them to do. They do what they want to do regardless, if it’s good for them or not. They just want the freedom to make their own choices for once.
But when we influence them by teaching, training, and being good role models, they internalize and maintain their autonomy and do what they feel is right. And itโs based on what we’ve taught them – ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ธ๐ฆโ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ณ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต.

It might be hard sometimes, especially as our children grow older, but we need to trust that we have taught them well. Save this post for later when you need the reminder that youโre doing a good job. ๐
