Apologizing Is One Of The Noblest Acts A Parent Can Perform
Parents, although sometimes we may hate to admit we were in the wrong, apologizing is one of the noblest acts a parent can perform. đź‘Ź
It requires humility, and acknowledgment that we did something wrong. Apologizing is a sign of strength, not a sign of weakness. Knowing how and when to apologize and setting that example will teach our children about love! đź’™
When we apologize, our kids grow up learning humility, awareness, and empathy. Apologizing to our kids helps them realize that we aren’t perfect. And it helps them understand that they themselves don’t have to be perfect either.
Saying sorry can be tough. Admitting that a situation went differently than you would have liked it to, can be uncomfortable. Yet, this repair work will support you and your family in developing trust, communication, and compassion!
Which parent are you from the video? 🤣 Drop it below in the comments!
