Welcome to Keys 2 Life Performing Arts Summer Camp, where youth ages 11-13 embark on an unforgettable creative adventure. Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of performers through a diverse range of performing arts experiences. A dynamic 6-week "Day Camp" that builds on the success of The Yunion's Keys 2 Life Mentoring through Music after-school curriculum. Since its inception in 2010, Keys 2 Life has leveraged the power of music to teach vital life skills and prevent negative experiences such as substance abuse, pre-marital sex, and teen pregnancy. Our summer camp program is designed for middle school-age students with a strong passion for the performing arts and music industry. Join us for an intensive and immersive experience that will expand your child's skills, broaden their horizons, and set them on the path to success.
Every day we kick-start the campers mornings with our invigorating "pick me up" sessions, led by our team of experienced instructors, program assistants, and life guides. These sessions set the tone for the day ahead, establishing clear goals and a central focus for our campers. Campers engage in interactive activities that will energize and inspire them as well as prepare them for all the excitement ahead.
But that’s not all - we’re not just about the fun and games. At Keys 2 Life, we believe in empowering our campers with essential academic and life skills. We're thrilled to introduce an exciting enhancement to our summer camp curriculum! Alongside our engaging activities, we're now offering Academic Enrichment sessions led by certified teachers for 2.5 hours, four days a week. Through dynamic Math and ELA classes, our campers will not only have fun but also sharpen their academic skills, preparing them for success in school and beyond.

The K2L Summer Camp will focus on fun, creative pathways such as Beat Making, Song Writing, Dance, Theatre, and Instrumentation. These track classes are presented by our instructors to teach techniques in the various performing arts fields. Live session feedback will be offered after the class session time with instructors, tech support, and program assistants to guarantee that each person is achieving the goal of every lesson. Closeout sessions will include open mic talent show time, acknowledgments and shout-outs, and announcements to keep us all on task. Programming will run 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm EST for 6 consecutive weeks.
The Keys 2 Life Summer Camp will provide participants with evidence-based prevention curriculum while encouraging, educating, and empowering youth through key principles in the arts. Returning students will participate in leadership development training and/or prevention and life skills curriculum. Students will be placed with a professionally trained instructor that will help nurture their talents and abilities in their specific area of interest. Those who commit to this program will be enriched socially, academically, psychologically, and of course artistically.

AGE LIMITS
11-13 yrs old
Due to the intensive instruction and fast paced learning environment of our camp, enrollment is geared towards students who are ages 11-13. Students must be entering into the fifth grade or higher in the Fall of 2024 and proof of age is required. Students will be required to demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow and are expected to be timely, professional, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Only students with a strong interest in the performing arts should apply for this camp.
Enrollment is first come first serve so we encourage you to submit as early as possible.
