High School Students Vape Or Use E-Cigarettes Daily

In 2021, 11.3% (1.72 million) of high school students and 2.8% (320,000) of middle school students reported current e-cigarette use. Among current e-cigarette users, 43.6% of high school students and 17.2% of middle school students reported using e-cigarettes within the past 30 days.
The decisions to “smoke” these cigarettes opens a window for addiction and the possibility to try other drugs.
We strongly encourage you to have a conversation with your teen about the effects of vaping and e-cigarettes. If you’re struggling with what to say or how to say it, that’s what we’re here for! Leave a comment below or send us a message! 💙
