Kirk Englert has lived in the Detroit area for 17 years and is currently the Director of Mechanical Engineering for the Lifestyle Automotive Audio Division at Harman International. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, both in Mechanical Engineering. He has been working in the automotive industry for 17 years in various functions at Ford Motor Company, A123Systems, Bose Corporation, and Harman in increasing roles of responsibility.

Kirk has been participating in ministry in various capacities since college – as a Bible study leader, worship leader, counselor at the urban ministry The Pittsburgh Project, global missions projects, and adult small group leader. Kirk has been a supporter of the Yuinon since its inception. He is a member of Dearborn Christian Fellowship where he plays drums on the worship team and leads a 3rd-5th grade boys ministry. He is happily married with 3 sons.
