Kourtney Neloms
SECRETARY
Kourtney Neloms is a professionally trained community developer, evaluator, and advocate with work experiences in the faith community, social and philanthropic organizations, educational settings, and local government agencies. Neloms received a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work and Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and currently homeschools her two young sons. Additionally, for the past 10 years, Neloms has operated Catalyst Consulting which provides research and evaluation support to community-based organizations. A life-long lover, supporter, and resident of Detroit, Neloms is an active volunteer and board member and participates in local and global missions projects. Neloms currently resides in Northwest Detroit with her husband, Quan Neloms, a Detroit Public Schools teacher, and sons Mathias and Nathan Maddox.
