Youth Advisory Design Team (YADT)

🔊 𝘚𝘏𝘖𝘜𝘛 𝘖𝘜𝘛 𝘛𝘐𝘔𝘌!⁣

We are so proud of our 8 Youth Advisory Design Team (YADT) members who presented their final ideas for the Yunion’s multi-purpose and music spaces!⁣

These students had to apply design thinking, project management skills, budgeting and interior design principals for this project!⁣

Each one received feedback on their presentations from Executive Director Nicole Wilson, the lead interior designer on the Yunion’s building Kim Wagern, and John Tagle of John Tagle Associates, Inc, Architects and Planners! 👏 All while presenting in front of an audience of 50 guests!⁣

We wanted our students to know that their hard work and efforts are valued, so they were paid for their participation. Their design ideas will be implemented into those spaces as we prepare for the building’s grand opening, expected to be early 2022. How exciting will it be to see their ideas come to life!?⁣

Thank you @generatorzfuture and @rcwjrf for this amazing opportunity. The Yunion and our students are forever grateful for the knowledge and growth that this has provided.⁣

Celebrate with us and congratulate our Youth Advisory Design Team below in the comments! 🎉
