Detroit Public Schools Community District is offering a few Free, Fun, and Engaging events to help enrich students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. ย Take a look at this week’s free events!
The DPL presents the 73rd Annual E. Azalia Hackley Collection Concert, โAn Evening with Daniel Washington.โ Dr. Daniel Washington, Professor of Voice at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, & Dance, has performed at the worldโs major opera houses and concert stages.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit invitesย DPSCD students and their families to view The Architectural Imagination, an exhibition featuring drawings and models of imaginary buildings designed for real locations in Detroit (a lot in Mexicantown, a riverfront post office, parcels along the Dequindre Cut, and the Packard Plant) and to design their own dream buildings using their imaginations and the inspirational materials provided.
