Only About 50% of Teen Mothers Receive a High School Diploma
𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸…? 🤔
Teen pregnancy and childbearing are associated with increased social and economic costs. This causes immediate and long-term effects on teen parents and their children.

Although this is probably one of the last things you want to think about as a parent, especially if you have a teen, making sure your kids are safe and smart when it comes to this particular topic is so important! Having these conversations with our teens shouldn’t be an uncomfortable thing, it’s part of being a parent! By opening up and creating a safe space for certain conversations to happen, we are letting our children know that it’s okay to ask questions and that we are here for them!
It’s our job as parents to make sure that our children understand the effect that their decisions can have on their lives. Do you find it tricky navigating these types of conversations with your teens? Feel free to DM us and we would love to give you some guidance on how to go about it!
